  • Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Description

University Lake School is seeking a Bookkeeper who supports the school business office on billing, data entry, scheduling, recordkeeping, and other essential administrative functions of the school. This team member will be an important, valued, and trusted addition to our administrative office and school community.

Essential functions and expectations:

  • Make data entries into Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
  • Support timesheet entries for payroll
  • Make billing entries related to student services
  • Maintain, organize, and file records 
  • Assist in the annual financial audit
  • Support other accounts payable, receivable, and payroll activities and tasks
  • Model self-disciplined and ethical behavior

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of families and students
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite products
  • Excellent organization skills 
  • Experience in the field of accounting or human resources, or attending school for a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, beginning May 15, 2025, with flexibility based upon the season. Compensation is $18-$20/hour depending on experience.
