Our Community

University Lake School is a place and a philosophy, an adventure and a haven, an experience, and a feeling. Most of all, we’re an energetic extended community of students, teachers, administrators, family members, alumni and friends.

While we hail from Lake Country and beyond, and from many walks of life, we share the common goal of making ULS a safe, joyful, invigorating journey for all our children. When one of us succeeds, we all celebrate. When one of us needs help, we’re there — you don’t even have to ask. We pay attention and model compassion, so our children grow up kind and confident, inquisitive and insightful.

Our students form deep friendships that can last a lifetime — and so do our teachers and families. We take every child’s education as a communal endeavor that contributes to the well-being of the wider world.
